Google has decided that it will no longer use Windows-based machines for its operations. Hence, it has begun a purge of everything Windows and the sound of hearts breaking is echoing a long way from Redmond. Google has stated that this decision is based on low security level that such a mass market operating inevitably ends up suffering form. Despite the ongoing feud with Apple, Google has named Mac as one of the replacement platforms. The other is of course Linux, which they have been using for quite some time now.

Chinese Maker Decides To Copy Apple After Legal Threats Fail To Work [Tablets]

Yes, that is what you should do when you legal notices bring you nothing but a tiny bit of media coverage that calls your bluff anyway. The Great Loong brother, China, is a manufacturer of Tablet devices. They had issued a legal notice against Apple with the claim that Apple copied their design with the iPad. What actually happened is that they basically made a tablet that carried the iPhone aesthetics very accurately and released it before Apple launched the iPad.

Sick of tablet news already? Well, you need harden up because the world is currently in the mood for them and Apple is not going to be spared its fair share in the blame. A pretty hefty share at that.

Whilst you were drooling/hating/scratching your head at the iPad, there was a new company that was getting ready to announce its own tablets. This is back where Apple gets its stuff made — China and the company hails from Nanjing. It is called Motom and it currently seems to have 3 separate tablet devices in offer.

X2 Cashes In On Amtek’s iTablet While Finalizing Their Own [Tablets]

So there was this tablet device called the iTablet much before the Apple tablet rumors reached fever pitch. It was made by Amtek and it has been around for quite some time you see. Now, there’s this company in the UK called X2, who are drawing your attention to something called the iTablet. The connection? It’s the same friggin’ device. Dare we ask for more creativity in the industry?
