tilt2_420After a string of speculations and rumors, AT&T has finally announced the launch of two new smart-phones that are based on Microsoft Inc.’s Windows mobile 6.5 operating system i.e. HTC’s Tilt 2 and Pure. According to the sources, the wireless service provider also launched four new models which it termed as “quick messaging devices”.

The Pure is actually a touch-screen device comprising of a 3.2 inch display screen. The high definition screen will be a treat for the users, providing them with a better and a brighter view. On the other hand, Tilt 2 culminates a tilted side screen (probably that is why the device has been named as Tilt 2) with that of a full QWERTY keyboard. The last few days have been quite exciting as we enter the last leg of the third quarter of 2009. There have been multiple announcements but none have caught our attention quite as much as these 4 gadgets here.

First up, we finally have the specifications for the forward-looking Nokia Booklet 3G. Sadly, it does nothing out of the ordinary in the performance and comes along with the usual Netbook fare. Thankfully, it has 3G goodness built in along with GPS.

Next we have HTC announcing the much awaited HTC Touch2. It is a Windows Mobile phone (yes, that’s what they are calling the new standard) and will hence be running Windows Mobile 6.5. Lots of new stuff here to look forward to now that HTC has upgraded the Touch Flo Interface as well.

The final piece, again, comes from Nokia. Nokia has announced an all touchy-feely mobile phone called the X6.

Nokia has been announcing and showing off new these devices at the annual Nokia World Conference that is being held in Stuttgart Germany this year.

More information on all 3 of them plus the mystery 4th on the other side.
