Yes, ladies and gentlemen — we all saw this one coming from miles away. iPad was the most talked about thing at this year’s MacWorld and Apple wasn’t even there. Not only that, the iPad is not even available for purchase yet. However, these are probably the things that give it the mystical value that it seems to have. In fact, we can only experience it through the few select people who got to touch it and the many people who developing or making accessories for it. The latter two were aplenty at MacWorld, as is only to be expected.

You know when Apple refuses to comment on those bleeding obvious things that everyone’s pretty sure that they are going to (have to) do? Well, they are doing it again. This time it is the whole camera thing on the iPad. As in the lack of any sort of a camera. So it seems like that people who have inspected the hardware components of the iPad and developers who have been using the SDK, are all coming up with what they think are evidences of a planned camera that was probably killed at the last moment. No foul play is suspected, techies speculate cost being the primary motivation.

Okay, so Korea Times is claiming that Apple will soon release a Dual-Core iPhone that will eat your phone for breakfast. Okay, so they didn’t write that part about breakfast but if the rumor is true then it will do so anyway. According to the paper, KT, the carrier who’s got the exclusive on the iPhone in Korea, has leaked this bit of information. According to Korea Times’ sources inside KT, the new 4th generation iPhones will arrive sometime in June and will be handed out to corporate executives to see how well they hold out in a demanding situation. They are calling it the litmus test for the phone.

Intel has been announcing new things all this week. They have been so very hyper (thanks to the Intel Developer Forum or IDF) that it looks like they might actually be threatened by ARM’s declaration to compete directly with Intel’s main market. With everyone looking to get a piece of the netbook pie and device manufacturers stepping up the pace, Intel seems to be speeding things up as well. Get to the other side for Intel’s new computer cable standard, new developer program, new processors, new OS (yes, event that) and new version of the Linux-based OS Moblin. Yes, Intel wants to be its own industry.

Have you been noticing this? Almost every major phone manufacturing company has announced at least one Android Phone by now and some have already released their first or second-generation Android phones. What started out as a small deployment last year is now becoming bigger with every release. Looks like Google is living up to its announcement of having about 18 Android phones by the end of this year. Get to the other side for the recent Android developments and devices.
