Japan's doing it too!
And that is a headline worthy because the iPad is not made in Japan. This is a country that is used to being ahead of everyone else’s technology. They are one of the few countries to be using some of the most advanced technologies available to man kind at the moment and more often than not it is their own doing. So when a device from across the planet comes in and takes over the market, it is an intriguing situations indeed.

It’s either that or Amazon is trying to divert our attention with an orchestrated hype generating move so that they can quietly work on their world domination plans in the background. Although not as exciting as an evil corporation bent on world domination, we will go with the Kindle supposition. So Amazon has been beefing up its arsenal in order to better compete with Apple’s threat. I can just imagine their emergency board meeting — “We have to do something. Let’s buy a touch company and get a good Manager with a great track record. Forget the cost, we are sinking here!”.

There’s a reason why there are rumors about tablet makers now going back to the drawing board before releasing their own versions of a tablet device. A lot of small companies and startups have already launched or announced their tablets but the larger companies have barely announced theirs and they are not really showing it to anybody, more so after the iPad was released.
