And they all love the iPad! Apple must be one happy company at the moment. They chose a few regulars and new reviewers for their new device and the embargo has finally been lifted so that people can start talking about it. Hence, reviews and hands on videos/photos started flooding in since the last day of March. With only one day to go before the thing becomes available in the US, the iPad deluge has officially begun and is here to stay for the weekend. I have following things obsessively as usual. So you can just relax and make your way trough this round up instead of going through all of them!

You know when Apple refuses to comment on those bleeding obvious things that everyone’s pretty sure that they are going to (have to) do? Well, they are doing it again. This time it is the whole camera thing on the iPad. As in the lack of any sort of a camera. So it seems like that people who have inspected the hardware components of the iPad and developers who have been using the SDK, are all coming up with what they think are evidences of a planned camera that was probably killed at the last moment. No foul play is suspected, techies speculate cost being the primary motivation.

Amazon has been on the crosshairs of multiple companies ever since the Kindle became such a hit. But such a hit I mean it is a popular niche device that will probably never see the kind of mass success that devices like the iPhone enjoy. Yes, you know where I am going with this — Amazon is scared of Apple. They are scared of Apple’s Tablet might mean for them — the large tree in a field of little e-reader shrubs.
