Others buy something techy because geeks are all about tech, are not they not? And then there is the third category who does not care at all and buys something totally unrelated like a new sweater with a purple reindeer so that other people’s geek alarm can go off in public places more easily.

There is not probably a single geek in this universe who does not love Star Wars. Well, except for those die hard Trekkies but you’d probably know if the geek is one of those (Hint: lots of Star Trek stuff lying around). Star Wars is a Geek’s version of the classic fairy tale. Now, you cannot just buy anything especially not that mediocre Clone Wars bullshit. Real geeks dig the original Star Wars episodes IV to VI and the stuff that Bioware produced with their Kotor series. There are lots of characters in those three movies and it might be a good idea to concentrate on some that are generally considered the coolest and baddest: Boba Fett and Darth Vader.

Geeks usually love computers and other electronic devices.
